About Chandra Krohl

Chandra Krohl began her career in human resources following her completion of a BA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Initially hired by McKinsey & Company in Washington, DC, she served the global management consulting firm as an HR coordinator while pursuing an MBA in business and organizational development at the George Washington University. After her graduation in 2000, Chandra “Chandi” Krohl she drew on her master’s degree to consult with Accenture and carry out responsibilities as a corporate HR manager at World Kitchen.

Chandra Krohl went on to accept her first position as an HR director in 2008, and since then she has held directorship and senior management roles at firms across the Washington, DC, area. Over this time, Ms. Krohl has spearheaded talent management and leadership development initiatives, led the integration of newly acquired companies and business units, and created annual savings of $75,000 in 401(k)-related fees. Technologically adept, she has also implemented new human resource information systems (HRIS) and lowered annual HRIS and payroll costs by 13 percent.

Most recently, Chandi Krohl brought this record of achievement to her role as senior vice president of talent and culture with a Washington, DC, firm. When not busy with her professional responsibilities there, she spends her free time giving back to her Arlington, Virginia, community as a member of the Facilities Committee at Arlington Public Schools. Her work in her community also extends to creating a weekly food-truck day and establishing a free library in her family’s front yard.
